Clearly you need to establish responsible management provisions in respect of your Ex assets; that said, don't make life harder than it needs to be.  For example, did you realise that there is normally no requirement for routine periodic detailed inspection?  (As distinct from close/visual.)  TDS will tailor an intelligent and appropriately targetted approach.
