REVIEW OPTIONS
TDS provide a range of reviews to validate existing designs and practices, and identify key issues and options for development:
PRELIMINARY REVIEW
Consideration of provisions for process measurement, control, protection and management (or nominated subset). Report details any identified business vulnerabilities (from both production and regulatory perspectives) and opportunities for gains in productivity, efficiency, yield or availability. If required, more comprehensive studies may be commissioned to identify solution possibilities. These will typically include different combinations of the following elements:
CONTROL STRATEGY REVIEW
Review of process regulatory control strategies. Considers existing provision against operational requirements. Report identifies refinements that meet prevailing investment criteria.
MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS REVIEW
Review of measurement system provision in terms of fitness for purpose, be it control, protection, monitoring or accounting. Considers techniques, calibration, QA and integrity.
PROTECTION SYSTEMS REVIEW
Review of compliance with nominated standards or established good practice, including issues of integrity, reliability, traceability of design, testing methodology etc.
SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT REVIEW
Review of systems from perspective of maintenance and management, including maintenance strategies, change control, database management, documentation etc.
SYSTEM AUDITS
Independent check of compliance with nominated policies and procedures.
